I have three different Master's degrees: 1) English: Rhetoric and the Teaching of Writing from the University of Colorado at Denver; 2) Professional Writing from the University of Southern California; 3) and Gerontology from the University of Southern California. Currently, I am a doctoral candidate in Gerontology at Miami University.
Experience
I have 25 years of teaching experience at the college level in both English and in Gerontology, including ESL/ELL, essay composition, fiction, memoir, playwriting, screenwriting, and professional editing. I am a published author and researcher and have taken over 150 courses (mostly in English and writing) over my 30 year educational career. I love helping others achieve their academic and professional goals because I know how good it feels when my product is well-received. It feels great to earn that A or have my professors and readers appreciate my hard work.

Hobbies
I'm a fan of all animals, but especially my 14-year old dog. I am also a classically-trained pastry chef who loves to bake when I have the time (and people to feed). I have traveled extensively around the world and lived in many different and exciting places, including the very top of Alaska (on the Arctic Ocean), China, England, and all around the United States.
